Being Human


On 7th March Silva Screen is set to release Being Human, Richard Wells' soundtrack to BBC3's hit supernatural comedy-drama.

Brighton Rock

This intense crime drama, based on the book by Graham Greene, follows the fall of Pinkie (played by Sam Riley) a disadvantaged teenager with a religious death wish. The star studded cast also boasts Andy Serkis from (Lord of The Rings, King Kong, Sex, Drugs & Rock & Roll)and Helen Mirren (The Queen). The original soundtrack to the film boasts a brilliant score written by Martin Phipps and features the ballad There’s A Storm A’ Comin’, written and performed by Richard Hawley.

The Next Three Days

Danny Elfman, internationally acclaimed for his scores for Tim Burton's Corpse Bride and Alice In Wonderland amongst others, has scored a piano led soundtrack to Paul Haggis's dramatic thriller, The Next Three Days. In it, Russell Crowe plays John, a desperate man attempting to free his wife (Elizabeth Banks) from prison for a crime she did not commit, with only 72 hours to do it. The soundtrack also includes two tracks performed by world renowned singer/songwriter Moby.


The soundtrack is released next week on January the 24th


Fear Is The Key

The film Fear Is The Key is based on Alistair MacLean’s novel first published in 1961. The soundtrack showcase’s Roy Budd’s magnificent composing talent which oversees some brilliant British musicians such as Ronnie Scott, Tubby Hayes, Kenny Baker, Chris Karan and Jeff Clyne. The movie soundtrack is known for it’s famous 10 minute long track Car Chase, which includes some wonderful Jazz instrumentals complete with wheel-skidding sound effects.


The soundtrack is available from March the 7th


The Rite

Inspired by true events, this psychological thriller follows an American priest Michael Kovak, played by actor Colin O’Donoghue, who travels to Italy to study at an exorcism school. While in Rome, Kovak meets Father Lucas played by Anthony Hopkins, an unorthodox priest who introduces him to the darker side of his faith. The Original Movie Soundtrack score for this film has been written by Alex Heffes and boasts an intense blend of music, “from the unsettling to the beautiful, and never too far apart” - Mikael Håfström
